Poem of Quotes #3
I created a small poem with quotes from Cutting: Understanding and Overcoming Self-Mutilation by Steven Levenkron. It is a non-fiction book on self-harm and treatment
The majority of the topics discussed involved abuse (sexual, physical, emotional) and the self-harm done by the patients to cope. They were all important topics to me, and these sets of sentences hit me the hardest.
I rearranged them into a pseudo-conversation poem. This was the 3rd of the set I created, but this was the set with the words that were closest to my heart at the time.
